Reminding the importance of the naval and the maritime influence in Quebec through the years, the Rendez-vous naval de Québec is a festive event wich allowed the Canadian and foreign sailormen to share their passion of the sea. Our next edition will be June 7 to 10 2012

2012 Programme of activities
The principles around which the programming of the RVNQ was developed are in line with how the tourism stakeholders wish to promote the greater Québec area. Indeed, the St. Lawrence River, its history and the significance of its economic impact (past, present and future) are at the centre of our reflections on what we call our “appealing product.”
Based on our previous editions, we really want to treat our visitors even better by hosting a wider range of ships and by developing attractive programming over and above the ships themselves during the day and the evening. In this regard, RVNQ is working with “Evenma”, a firm specializing in event management in order to develop and implement a dynamic programme.
In the meantime, RVNQ is pleased to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Canadian Coast Guard, as well as the bicentennial of the War of 1812.
Our official programme of activities for RVNQ 2012 will be unveiled at a press conference scheduled for May 7th.
